Special Scholarships

 Recognizing that our youth are our country's greatest national resource, VFW and Ladies Auxiliary members continue dedicating themselves to activities and programs that will enhance and enrich the lives of young people.

 Annually, the veterans' organization distributes more than $4 million in scholarships and savings bonds to America's youth through the annual Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, Patriotic Art,  local and other scholarship programs.

 Locally, the members of VFW Post 6899 and Ladies Auxiliary award more than $6700 in scholarships each year. We are honoring our deceased veterans by giving back to our community.
